Shipping & Delivery
I. Books ordered online will be shipped vide Courier/India Post depending on the serviceability of the delivery address/location
II. Timeline for dispatch will vary depending on the book ordered and the time of order placed
III. Expected dispatch date will be indicated at the time of placing online order
IV. In the event of any support required or report any grievance related to delivery of the books ordered online, the subscriber must report to the Company’s customer service at toll free number 1800 102 1878 or email to customercare@thehindu.co.in within 15 days from the date of ordering book online
Cancellation & Refund
I. Request for cancellation and refund of order must be submitted within 24 hours from the time of booking, in writing to customercare@thehindu.co.in by subscriber and email must be sent from the registered email id clearly mentioning reason for cancellation & the bank account details to credit the amount
II. Once order is processed cancellation request will not be entertained
III. In case the book is received in a damaged or mutilated condition, subscriber must report to company within 24 hours on receipt in writing to customercare@thehindu.co.in duly attaching a photo of the book as received. Such orders will be replaced by the Company after scrutiny of the condition of book delivered
IV. Notwithstanding anything above, the Company reserves the right to refuse request for cancellation and refund of subscription or replacement of books
